When Worlds Collide
In the one shot-from Ghost, we learn how Redcoat, Geiger, and Miss Goodbody are united by mysterious ties that bind. And what of the secretive hero of The Unnamed? This 64-page special brings us the scaffolding of the story. How is Rook, a farmer trapped on Exudus, Geiger, our brooding and radiant hero, and the bad-man-boy of Simon Pure, the undead British Redcoat, worlds apart yet sharing Universes in The Unnamed?
April 3, 2024
On April 3, 2024, a day that will live in comic book fans’ minds and that will be remembered long and fondly, triple trouble arrived in the form of the highly anticipated release of Redcoat #1, Rook: Exodus#1, and Geiger (2024)#1. Yes, while 2024 was a good year, April 3 was a perfect day for fans and followers of the comic book arts.
Hyde Street — Where Nightmares Live
October, just in time for things that bump in the night, G.M. came out with Hyde Street, where horror lives. Retro advertisements with extra elements are sure to provoke horror. Beyond what adverts usually provoke, that is. Work by author Geoff Johns unites to create a comic with artwork by Ivan Reis. Other dream team members include color control by Brad Anderson, inking by Danny Miki, and letters laid right by Rob Leigh. The first issue sold out immediately by distributors and was rushed into re-print so the audience could meet these creepy characters in this compelling horror offering!
Family Time
The holidays saw the release of the Family Odyssey collection, including The Rocketfellers #1, the premiere issue of the adventures of a family from the future coming back in time — to our era. From the brainpans of Manapul and Tomasi. Speaking of families. At least yours didn’t trade you for some other realm’s rightful heir, whether in heaven or hell. Or did they? How would you know? Such is the dilemma our leads find themselves in Hornsby & Halo #1, a tale of self-discovery brought to you by Tomasi and Snejbjerg.
